I promise this blog will soon be back to art and introversion musings... but it's been almost impossible to even hear my thoughts these past few weeks.
When people in the business told me this was "busy season", they failed to say this is season where the world will come to an end, hyenas will munch on your carcass, and your brain will turn to mush.
I would like to go to sleep and wake up on the week of Christmas. I think things will be a little less intense then.
The stress and anxiety levels sometimes get to an unmanageable high, but I am trying to keep my zen moment, my place...most importantly to remind myself that no matter what, I have control over nothing.

You have control over your thoughts. Sounds like that may be about it, but yes -- find that Zen place. And indeed -- your description of the busy season made me laugh (and sympathize!)
Sending calm and soothing vibes your way!
Oh those hyenas - I think I've worked with them too! I remembered being on that stress cycle. At least you recognize it and see the need for zen for balance.
Like everything, just remember there will be an end to it.
Take a deep breath...then scream into the pillow! lol. Take care!

At least hyenas aren't munching on your mind as your body turns to mush?
Breathe...
Thinking of you, Ana...I hope this stressful time will at least pass quickly!
Sounds super stressful - especially with hyenas munching on your carcass! Geez. Seriously though, I hope things get less hectic for you.
Thinking of you, Ana! Hope it gets easier for you soon. Remember to take some time to recharge those introverted batteries :)
I hope you find time to relax soon, Ana! ♡
Just remember to breathe and smile ;o)
Just say.. ommmm...
So true - this time of year does get crazy. It seems to be a time when there is far too much to be done and not nearly enough time to accomplish it in.
Your philosophy is right-on, control only what you have control over (which is usually little to nothing), take deep breaths, clear your mind and find that "Zen" place (even if it is for only a brief moment).
Take care. :)
Well I'm glad to read that I haven't missed too much. But sorry that you have been so busy! I have been held captive by the muse lately and am not blogging much Ana. I will check back later (and I'll be sending relaxing thoughts your way!
Know that you are not alone! I, too, am trying very hard to hold onto a little Zen throughout the day. I'm not always successful!
Jesus offers peace to all who ask Him, and I hope your Christmas season offers that to you.
I hope you find some peace close to Christmas time.
