Love that movie Ana... and the quote from it is perfect... couldn't agree more... stunning watercolor... thinking of you... and looking forward to hearing about your next chapter in the story of life...
Bjs
Beautiful orchid, Ana! I know this quote, in fact I blogged it a few days ago too, but I don't know where I heard it or read it...I have not seen this movie...yet. I wanted to say whose quote it was...it's certainly a good one! Hopeful. Have a happy new week, kathy
your flower is lovely! and to answer your question on the wax...it is parafin wax. my mom used it for making ukranian eggs and she had like 5 lbs left over.
The color in your painting is beautiful - magenta is my favorite color. I took a watercolor class a year and a half ago, but I haven't kept up with it. Your blog makes me want to pull out my paints. Thank you.

What a lovely orchid. You have such a pleasing way with color.
I LOVE that painting!!! It reminds me a great deal of some of the work of Georgia O'Keeffe.
