Danielle's musings...

Danielle loves to lie down in the bathroom shower, but hates to take a bath. She loves to walk around our neighborhood chasing lizards, but has no idea what to do with one when she is successful in her hunt. She likes to act tough, but is missing at least five teeth in her mouth. She loves attention, but hates to cuddle.

When I rescued her, she was skin and shivering bones in a cage at the Humane Society. Today, she walks around with pride and attitude that only a little Puerto Rican girl can show ;-)

So cute!! I love dog's and especially the one's that are saved seem to be so grateful that you did! They are in some way different then other dog's who had a better start in life.

Love the white hairs on her muzzle :) Our previous dog was a rescue dog and she was funny to watch-she was a cautious loving dog. My current dog is the comedian-I smile every day because of him.

Made tears come to my eyes! So lucky for her to have come you you in her time of extreme need! I have rescue cats. Dogs just look so much sadder, though.

Beautiful! I used to own a dog in NYC back in the 1970s. I had to leave her with friends when I moved back to Hawaii.

She's totally beautiful! Your soft focus photos of her are just right. They speak volumes about her personality. I knew you had alligators in florida (toooo scary for words) but didn't know about the lizards. I'm not sure I would be very happy living with your wildlife, but maybe the warm sun makes up for it????

Such a beautiful girl; the two of you are lucky to have one another.

You know how I feel about rescuing animals and since she can't say it in human words: Thank you from Danielle (and I)!

How very like us she is -- a mass of contradictions yet in the whole completely oblivious to them and in her own element. Plus, she's lovely!

Jeanie said...

I think I clicked out of signing into blogger and so my comment probably didn't take. I simply said that like so many of us, she is a mass of contradictions and she's just fine with that! She is also simply lovely -- you've done well with her.
