Remember I told you guys one of my illustrations was going to be on a magazine? Well, the magazine arrived hot from the oven in my mail box today.
As I fumbled through the pages to find that one little image of my illustration of the Hawaiian Mo'o, I encounter this:
I full spread of my Mo'o (named Oscar)!!!!!
It is amazing that I sketched the little guy above while vacationing in Maui, this piece of paradise on Earth. The islands are rich in legend, folklore, culture and History.
I guess I am just very excited to be a part of it.

You should be excited and proud and very happy. Fab painting. The story looks very fascinating too. I lived in Hawaii for four years with my husband (we were married there too). The spiritual energy is amazing, and there is much deep history of mystical happenings there.
It's a wonderful illustration! How exciting to see your work published so prominently! We love Maui and go once every 5 years on holiday. I must check out that magazine!

I just returned from Oahu few days ago and the nature there is just stunning. No words can do justice.
