Creative Mind

 Gap of Dunloe Sketch- Ireland

 Doodling for peace

New project work

I read recently the creative mind works in its own way and time. Especially in two areas most of us see as negative traits: procrastination and day dreaming.

I understand our world is now all about results, target numbers, goals... but day dreaming and procrastination can play an important role in our brain functioning.

Reading this article about how creative people do things differently was very enlightening and brought a whole new way of looking at traits I saw as negative. This article led me to research a little more about procrastination and the creative mind. The googling brought me to an article by Psychology Today that...well, states procrastination-helps-creative-thinking!!!

I am working on this exciting new project for our home and I can't wait to share with you guys. More to come :)

Procrastinating? Interesting. I find I do art the way I clean my house. In other words I don't start on one area and finish it. I start one place, then I start another and then another & eventually, maybe it all gets done. haha Can't wait to see your new house project, Ana!

I daydream several hours per day lol. I always have. I am not surprised to hear that you daydream too - especially as creative as you are!
