Sketches from the trip. Beira Mar beach. This place is buzzing with life as early as 5 am. People jogging, flirting, art and artists.
The second sketch is of a fishing boat. This is one of the symbols of the town. A "jangada", as it is called, is a traditional wooden boat used to fish. Beautiful.
Siriguela is this little fruit that ranges from yellowish green to deep red in color. It has a somewhat hairy seed and it tastes divine. Climbing the tree, seating on the branches and eating it with local kids is highly recommended.
And of course my Shushu. This is him, trying to occupy the same space as a way to make sure I am not going anywhere. As a cockapoo, he's always had a certain needy/clingy quality to his personality that's getting a little bit more evident as he ages, but I love him to death!!!
His sister, however, is too cool for that stuff ;-)
