Life is full of sunshine

Meditation has really improved my anxiety. It also has rebuilt my connection with the world that goes beyond what the eyes can see.

It all starts with a splash of color, a speck of life, a ray of light.

Pollyanna might have been vilified with her Glad Game. But truth is, we have so much to be happy about. So much to be thankful for. So little is really needed and there is so much in the world to discover.

My new year resolution has been taking form in the past few months. Naturally showing itself. I realize I want to continue looking at the world the same way I did as a child. With bewilderment, awe, reverence, amazement, excitement and most of all, knowing that I know nothing.

I wish you well as you work toward re-capturing the wonder of life. It can be so illusive.

I find this passage to be the most amazing part of your post. It's so sad when we become jaded, and we start missing out on those great things in Life.

Merry Christmas to you...

We would all do better with more child like attitudes. I might try some of those also.
Hope you are feeling much better soon.
Have a wonderful, happy and healthy Christmas.

Amazing colors and words! It is a full circle of the way to see things around - like a child again, without judging and comparing.

My meditation this year, with my Word for 2013, TRUST, has been the life change I so needed. I am thrilled that you have found light from meditation, too, Ana! We Capricorns need anxiety release!!! Hugs to you, my friend, kath

Very light paintings, like a soul in flight. Did my soul good to see them.

Now this is magical, dear Ana! :) Your painting...so gorgeous....
This post is so poetic, and really...often what you write about is mirrored by my thoughts. I am so happy for you that meditation has become a a useful tool...I really love it too.
And your resolution to view the world through the eyes of a child..that is noble indeed. Maybe we can start a movement? :)
I thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such lovely words...
Blessings to you,
- Irina

O yes yes, amen!!! When Jesus said we must become like little children to enter the kingdom of Heaven, I believe He meant something like this. Beautifully put, my friend! Have a lovely, blessed Christmas season :)

That is a great resolution! The world is a happier place when we retain that childhood awe.

I came to meditation a number of years ago, like you anxiety seemed to be my bedfellow, and so I was soothed too...

So let us continue with our Pollyanna games seeing the world with a tinge of rose colours, for really we are all children at heart.

Happy Holidays and New Year. x

Beautiful expression.
Being in the serenity of nature is usually a form of meditation for me. Meditation and time to just be in the moment always make a world of difference.
Thank you for sharing these thoughts.

I'm so happy that meditation is making such a difference for you. It does for me too. I still have challenging moments, but there is more space between them and far more compassion wrapped around my heart. Beautiful paintings and resolution… wide awake and open.
