2014 is promising to be a mighty year. I never do resolutions or words, but this year one word seems to be taking form and I believe it is important to hear the voice of your heart. "Life." Life is short and so delicate... therefore, I want to live it. I don't want to just go through the motions of everyday life. I want to really live life.
I want to continue painting because painting sings to my heart.
I want to dedicate more time to my sketchbook. I especially want to start a travel sketchbook. I have some great trips coming up in 2014. I am going back to Brazil in January. In April, we are going to Ireland, England and planning on taking the train to Italy. EXCITED!
I want to practice meditation, yoga, and practice a more sustainable lifestyle.
And continue to make my home the reflection of our soul (bookcase via Anthropologie and desk via Ikea- but don't tell my hubby. He hates Ikea).
I wish you all a 2014 filled with life, because yesterday is gone and tomorrow has not yet happened.

What a beautiful and sincere post, Ana...as always. I love the Meditation poster. How exciting to be traveling in your birthday month!! I haven't done much traveling lately, but will someday go to Ireland. I think a Travel Journal will be wonderful. I hope I get to glimpse at it tomsee what strikes you the most on your adventures. Me, I am enjoying the space between Christmas and New Year's...no work...reading, sketching...and wondering if my granddaughter will arrive in December or January! Maybe 1-4-14 ?

Yes, live! Live each day with joy and gratitude. That's my plan for 2014, and every day that I'm fortunate to have. Life is unpredictable, and very fragile, and it could end at any moment. You have to LIVE while you can.

We just returned from Christmas in Ireland .... what a wonderful, lovely and beautiful place, filled with warm people - despite the weather! They certainly live their life with Sisu!
