new beginnings

I started a new painting and right now it is VERY yellow (going through the state that I just want to toss it). It is also much bigger than what I usually paint, but we will see what's going to come out of this.

And look who has been home since Thursday! Surgeon called and said he was was ready to come home. He has been doing wonderful and healing very fast. He is kind of upset that he cannot go for his walks and pulls the leash a lot trying to continue down the road.

He is on restrictions and can only go out to do his business and then back inside. No running or jumping, which he doesn't do anyway...and no barking! Thank goodness he is not a barker, because if it was Danielle, I am not sure how we would work that out. She is a terrier and LOVES to bark.

I hope all is well with you all and happy Sunday!

I'm so glad Shushu is on the mend! I'm also glad you posted about that point in a piece where you don't know if it's going to work... That happens every time I do watercolor. So now I know to power through. I just love your work. xoxox

That blue collar is a very good color for Shushu. He must be so happy to be back with you. And I know how you must feel to have him back home. Sweet baby dog!

So pleased for the positive movements. May those continue and the little fella is back to himself sooner rather than too much later.

The painting, even at the beginning, is fantastic.

Poor little guy. They don't understand restrictions and think they are being punished. But how wonderful that he is doing so well. He will be back to normal soon and all this will be forgotten.
Will keep sending good thoughts his and your way.

Love to see how your painting is evolving. I feel a little sad to see Shushu like this. Hope soon he will completely recover and be back to his normal self.

Happy Sunday! I am so happy to learn that Shushu is back home. One of the most important ingredients in healing is being surrounded by love. And there's no place like home for that!

So glad he is feeling better! And he must have some more energy than *I* would after that, if he's eager to go on walks.
