The lazy blogger

I wonder how this will look. Just background painted. The area where the flower will be is protect by frisket film, which I have to say is much easier to use than frisket mask.

I have been a lazy lazy blogger. I apologize for the very limited amount of visits. Work has started to get real busy. And I have to say, I have been spending a lot of my time doing other things less internet dependent.

I am stopping by to catch up though.

Hi Ana. It's always good to see you. Yes I don't care for Google + and hopefully we won't be forced to switch when they decide to do away with Blogger.
I think your flower is going to look awesome once you get it going, the background looks great. It's good to be busy Ana. When I'm idle I find myself thinking too much. Take care and thx for stopping by my blog and also for your get well comment on my blog.

Hi Ana, it's okay. I've been a lazy blogger too for a while. Sometimes the time we spend away from the internet is more important. That art is already pretty even if it's still unfinished. :-)

Most of us should be a bit less internet dependent. Breaks are good and busy is not bad. Check in when you can. I really like that look.

Ana!!!!

That is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

What you have done here is a 'negative space' work... and as your readers have stated above, it looks wonderful and is QUITE successful!!

Once upon a time when I was an art major... before I went to "The Dark Side," we would do works in my classes utilizing negative space. I hope to see more!!

I LOVE IT!!!

No worries, Ana - I've also been a lazy (and/or busy) blogger lately. This frisket film is interesting - I'll have to look into it! I've only ever used the mask.

Have a great weekend!

The blocking looks perfect, I can tell this will become another wonderful piece.

Blogging has its ups and downs and I must confess that lately I've been neglectful of my own blog - just seems there is so much "other stuff" taking up my time and my attention. But that's life and as people, we all understand that "life happens". :)

I have been lazy too! I love the outline, and was wondering how you managed to keep the blue from bleeding into the white...

I've been a lazy blogger too, and can't even justify the laziness!
