Art does the heart good

It's been a calm weekend. A little restless on Saturday, as Shushu was a bit sick in his tummy and my guy is over 13, so I worry about him a lot.

But trying new techniques, new colors, or just trying. Watercolor is magical.

Love all the colours! I feel like a colour vampire sometimes, as in longing, thirsting for beautiful colours.

Hope your baby feels better soon. I've had a stomach bug too.

I hope your buddy is feeling better. I know what your mean. When the years add on to our little ones, we worry about each symptom.

Hoping your Shushu is feeling better, Ana. I wish dogs could talk when they feel sick, so I knew how much to worry or what to do. Your watercolors make me smile. That tree is gorgeous! And those berries, wow. I was thinking I'd have lots of time this summer to practice and play with watercolors, but it didn't happen.

Your watercolour paintings are lovely, you have great skill with them. I've been thinking about doing a botanical drawing course but I feel it might be so restrictive for me but I really want to paint some wildlife. I'd better hurry before all the flowers disappear for autumn!xx

Beautiful paintings, I especially love the bell pepper since I've been in the kitchen a lot lately. I've read that Autumn is a time for reflection and I am looking forward to sitting there in silence, drinking some tea and reflecting. xoxo, Introvert!

You can do anything. Your experiments have turned into beautiful artwork. I'd love to learn how to work in such an unforgiving but amazingly beautiful medium.

I do hope little Shushu is feeling better by now, 'dog worry' is always with me just the same as when my children were small but they can't tell you when they hurt, so we have to always be alert, especially with age...

As ever your artwork is beautiful...

Hugs x
