I won these cute little items from Dion Dior's blog. The sketch book will be perfect for my trip to the Bahamas.
I found out about Dion, when I took one of her classes on Mandalas. She might not know, but her class helped me heal from a painful journey.
It was also through her art, that I learned about Twinkling H20s which led to my love for watercolors.
Her art is fun, bright, colorful, and unpretentious. It is honest to the heart and that's what I admire most about this wonderful artist.
BTW, I gave myself a little gift: a fixed 35mm 1.8F Nikon lens. Shushu was not very happy about being my model (aka guinea pig) for test shots.

Congratulations on winning! And Shushu makes for a great photography subject -- happy or not! That is wonderful that you treated yourself to a new lens. Those fixed lenses force you to be more creative. I look forward to seeing some of the photos you take with it. I treated myself to a fixed 50mm 1.8F lens at Christmas after I'd finished shopping for everyone else. And I love it. I felt I deserved to pamper myself a little, too!
Mr. RK just bought a new lens, too...I have one cat who is a total poser and the other hides literally whenever he sees a camera. Go figure.
