Space Alien Things

Beth suggested I create little alien stamps to go with my spaceship and flying saucer stamps. I am a science buff, a proud geek, and a Star Track fan who had a crush on Spock, so an alien themed stamp collection seemed perfect.

Remember the water paper post cards I got? Well, I had an idea for a whole series with them. Soon to be posted. I also bought some amazing Fabriano watercolor paper in extra-white.

As I get better at the carving stamp thing, I am getting a little more bold with the patterns I am using and creating.

The puppies continue to complain that nothing in the realm of chicken treats has arrived in any of the boxes I am receiving.

I don't think they really "dig" mom's creative juices.

Did you know most dogs love sweet potatoes too? One of the homemade treats I occasionally make for Buddha, Lily, and Abby is thin slices of sweet potato with a tiny bit of chicken in the middle.

Bake them at 275F. until they are leathery and when they're cooled Dani and ShuShu will thank you!

The space aliens are adorable and I can't wait to see what else your fertile imagination comes up with!

Hi Ana, I’m a science buff and Star Trek fan too. The one I had a crush on was Captain Piccard on Next Gen, but I can totally understand a crush on Spock. I like your stamp carvings! The pups are adorable...more chicken treats LOL!

Aww, what sweet aliens! I am loving your stamps and can't wait to see more! How amazing that your post involves aliens...my upcoming post for Photo Art Friday involves an "alien" and I'm nervous about posting it. Seeing your post has given me courage to just go ahead and do it...I think it's a message from the universe. Thank you, Ana. :)

We now give our kitties pumpkin and chicken daily ... helps a whole bunch of things and keeps them healthy.

Happiness always,

Your little "ET's" are so cute. Looks like you are well on your way of perfecting your own rubber stamps as that flower is amazing, very intricate. I can tell it is going to create some beautiful stampings that can be used as cards or art. Keep up the creativity. :)

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
